About Greenville
A City That Started at the Falls
Greenville grew up around the falls of the Reedy River. Early settler Richard Pearis built a gristmill on the river, the first of the Upstate's water-powered industries, and the settlement went by the name Pleasantburg in its early years. Vardry McBee later became known as the Father of Greenville.
The railroad arrived in 1873 and helped pull the textile industry south. Greenville became known as the Textile Capital of the World, and by the 1930s, 16 major cotton mills and two dye and bleaching mills stood within three miles of downtown.
A four-lane road bridge, Camperdown Way, once crossed right over the falls. The women of the Carolina Foothills Garden Club began working to protect the land around the waterfall in the late 1960s. The bridge was torn down in 2002, and two years and $18 million later, Falls Park and the pedestrian Liberty Bridge opened to the public.
Managing a Dog Park or Common Area?
Tell the crew whether the property needs pet waste stations, bag refills, waste-liner replacement, dog park scooping or common-area scooping. They can discuss the current service plan for that property.

For Households
Yard Service for Greenville Homes
Pick a Rhythm for Your Yard
Households can choose twice-weekly, weekly, biweekly or monthly scooping, or ask for a one-time cleanup. The right gap between visits depends mostly on how many dogs use the yard and how much of it your family uses. If the kids play out back every afternoon, a long gap will feel long.
Monthly visits are limited to one dog and a yard of up to 1/8 acre. Twice-weekly visits aren't available at every address, so ask about yours. Weekly and biweekly sit in between and are worth comparing before you choose.
Think about how the yard gets used, not only its size. A small yard with two young dogs can fill up faster than a large one with a single older dog that spends most of the day inside.
A Single Cleanup
Not every household wants a schedule. A one-time cleanup covers a yard that needs attention now, whether you are getting ready for guests, getting the house ready to list, or catching up after a busy month.
It also lets you see the crew's work before you decide on anything recurring. Request a quote for your address and say that you want one visit.
If the result suits you, ask about turning it into a recurring plan.
Describe the Yard Before the First Visit
A short description saves back-and-forth. Mention which parts of the yard the dogs use, whether there is a gate the crew needs to open, and where the dogs will be during a visit. The residential page has a checklist of these points you can go through before you call.
If smell is part of the problem, ask about Yard Deodorizing. It is an add-on for the areas where your dogs spend time, alongside regular scooping.

Waste Stations, Dog Parks and Common Areas
What Commercial Service Covers
Apartment communities, HOAs, parks and businesses can ask the crew to install and maintain pet waste stations and to scoop dog parks. Station maintenance includes replacing bags and waste liners and cleaning around the station. The crew can also scoop a property's common areas.
Stations and scooping do different jobs. A station gives residents a place to bag and toss waste, and it only helps when people use it. Scooping picks up what was left behind. A property may need some of each, in different spots.
Parks and businesses have their own patterns. A dog area at a business may see steady use on weekdays, while a park may get busier on weekends. Tell the crew what you see so the plan matches it.
Thinking About Frequency for a Property
A common area doesn't fit a household schedule as neatly as a single yard. How often it needs attention depends on how many residents have dogs, how many stations there are, and how heavily the busiest areas get used.
You don't need a number before you call. Describe the property and what you see on a typical week, and the crew can discuss a frequency that matches.
Mention busy periods the office already knows about, such as move-in weeks or community events, along with any changes in how residents use the grounds.
Preparing a Property Request
Before you reach out, list the areas that see the most dog traffic, how many stations you have now and what shape they are in, and who restocks them today. Note any spots residents have raised with the office.
With that list, the crew can discuss a plan for the property and how often to come out. Calling or emailing is often easier for property work than a quote form, because you can describe the whole site at once.
If the property has more than one site or building, list each one with its address. A commercial plan depends on the exact location, just as home service does.
